Welcome to Techaven. By accessing our website, applying for courses, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Techaven's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Courses & Enrollment

Techaven offers professional training courses in Cybersecurity, Software Development, Systems Audit, and IT Consulting. All courses are delivered online unless otherwise specified.

• Course descriptions, schedules, and pricing are subject to change without notice
• Enrollment is confirmed only upon approval of your application
• Techaven reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify course content as needed
• In the event of course cancellation by Techaven, registered students will receive a full refund

3. Pricing & Payments

All courses offered by Techaven are paid courses. Payment terms are as follows:

• Course fees are displayed in [Your Currency] and are payable in full prior to course commencement
• Payment methods accepted will be communicated at the time of enrollment
• Prices do not include any applicable taxes, which remain the responsibility of the student
• Techaven reserves the right to change course pricing at any time; however, enrolled students will not be subject to price increases for their current course

4. Refund Policy

Techaven offers refunds under the following conditions:

• Time Limit: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of course access being granted
• Progress Limit: The student must have completed less than 25% of the course content
• How to Request: Contact us via email with your full name, course name, and reason for refund
• Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval

5. Student Pricing

Students who select "Student" status during application may be eligible for reduced pricing:

• Student applicants must provide their educational institution name and student ID number
• Techaven will verify student status by contacting the educational institution
• Approval for student pricing is conditional upon successful verification
• Providing false student information is grounds for:
  • Immediate revocation of student pricing
  • Requirement to pay the full course price
  • Termination of enrollment without refund
• Student pricing applies only to the individual student and is non-transferable

6. User Accounts

Once your course application is approved, Techaven will create a user account for you:

• Accounts are used to track your course progress, quiz scores, and completion status
• You are not required to have an account to access course content, accounts are primarily for progress tracking
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Techaven reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

7. Code of Conduct

By using Techaven's services, you agree to:

• Not share your account credentials or course access with others
• Not distribute, reproduce, or share course materials without permission
• Not attempt to bypass any security measures or access restrictions
• Not engage in cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty
• Not harass, abuse, or disrespect instructors or fellow students
• Not use Techaven's services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate termination of enrollment without refund.

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, slides, code samples, quizzes, documentation, and other content provided by Techaven, are the intellectual property of Techaven and are protected by copyright laws.

You may:

• Access course materials for your personal, non-commercial learning
• Download materials for offline viewing (where permitted by the platform)

You may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or share course materials with others
• Sell, resell, or commercially exploit any course materials
• Create derivative works based on course materials
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techaven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.

Techaven does not guarantee that:

• Our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Course completion will result in employment, certification, or specific career outcomes
• Any errors in course materials will be corrected

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Harare, Zimbabwe.

12. Modifications to Terms

Techaven reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
